Architettura come strumento di integrazione e qualità e confort in contesti di emergenza

Architettura, qualità, confort e accessibilità in contesti di emergenza sono i temi centrali del webinar proposto da AICS Khartoum in collaborazione con l’Ambasciata d’Italia, il Politecnico di Milano, l’Università di Camerino, UNDP Sudan e la Khartoum University, Facolta di Architettura.
Verranno affrontate questioni legate alle tecniche costruttive e ai materiali utilizzati e allo stesso tempo la necessita di coinvolgere la comunità per creare processi partecipativi e arrivare a soluzioni condivise. Il webinar riserverà un’attenzione speciale alle tecnologie costruttive più appropriate in situazioni di vulnerabilità ed emergenza, affinché diventino strumenti idonei per assicurare costruzione e manutenzione sostenibile dell’ambiente abitativo.
Un importante argomento sarà quello del “upcycling” volto al riuso creativo di materiali in ambito architettonico favorendo il cosiddetto “processo circolare”.

Architecture as an instrument of integration, quality and comfort in emergency context

Architecture, quality, comfort and accessibility in emergency context are the pillars of the webinar organized by Aics Khartoum in partnership with the Italian Embassy, Polytechnic School of Milan, University of Camerino, UNDP Sudan and Khartoum University, Faculty of Architecture.
The event will tackle innovative professional techniques to be able to face the challenges of inclusive, sustainable urban development and seize the opportunities offered by transformations of the social contexts involving the communities through a participatory approach.
The webinar will focus in particular on the innovative building methods in emergency and most vulnerable contexts so as to guarantee sustainability - both in building and maintenance process – of the living environment.
A special emphasis will be given to the “upcycling” process aimed at reusing materials in a sustainable way in order to sustain the so called circular process.
The vent will be held in English via streaming on Teams platform.
